the roof...... NEPZA part 2

roof that entranced me while wandering around nanzou, the auditorium inside nepza was located just few blocks away from the clock that i posted  last week,to see please click here: after clicking some pictures on the trees that catched my attention because of its bountiful flowers and fragrance this auditorium delighted my eyes and decided to take a closer look,at first it looks nothing to me but after few steps at the side and on the back i found it fascinating....the roof was built like V shape on its right and left side almost touching the ground.built oval on the front and back and a bit higher than its both sides.

"God can be realized through all paths. All religions are true. The important thing is to reach the roof. You can reach it by stone stairs or by wooden stairs or by bamboo steps or by a rope. You can also climb up by a bamboo pole. "-Ramakrishna

"How prone poor Humanity is to dam up the minutest remnants of its freedom, and build an artificial roof to prevent it looking up to the clear blue sky. "-E. T. A. Hoffmann

"When we read a story, we inhabit it. The covers of the book are like a roof and four walls. What is to happen next will take place within the four walls of the story. And this is possible because the story's voice makes everything its own. "-John Berger

Love the architecture and could almost smell the flowers in the narrative. Enjoy this evening.

Indeed a wonderful reflection upon roofs, covering much of our daily lifes. Seeing them in b/w makes them timeless. Please have a colourful and nice start into the new week.
p.s.: left you a "deep bow" on my site.

Oh Blue, what great pictures. I think the roof is outstanding. Just be sure you handle your stress, my girl. I would not want anything to be so big you could not handle it. I am sorry I have not been better in touch. Sometimes I don't have the time to get back to people like I want to, but for you my dear I will always have time.
